If you have landed here ...

You are in the wrong place!! BBST has MOVED to it's own domain:

BBSTmlb.com <-------- Just click here!

 n

It's the same stuff you'd have previously found on my blog in a new convenient location! There's a layout and there will be new features ... for example, Relative Replays: Behind the Bullpen Chatter (coming soon) is a weekly series in which there will be a conversation between two life-long baseball fanatics: a mother-daughter discussion that can be about everything and anything related to baseball. Sometimes we will debate, others talk about current events, historical issues, the A's (obviously) ... whatever strikes our fancy.
Now, I don't know about another mother-daughter baseball blog ... if you have please let me know.

BBST (Bullpen, Baseball and Sock Talk) along with it's sister blog/series (haven't figured that out just yet), Relative Replays, will hopefully be fun, engaging and a first of its kind ... the site is still under construction but everything should be up and running soon! Thanks for reading and I hope you will follow me over to BBSTmlb.com! (it is part of Word Press so if you have a WP blog ... do me a favor! Follow the new BBST!! I hope you enjoy it!! Breaking News: Mets Trade Ike Davis to the Pirates

6:17 pm - Leaving for the A's game I'll update again later if there is news but it looks as though that is all that we are going to know about this breaking story for today ... still early here! Getting late on the East Coast! lol.

4:54 pm - Link to the initial (official) story with Ike Davis' reaction, updates still to come!

4:45 - More from Adam Rubin of ESPN New York on Ike's father's reaction:
4:25pm - Heyman reports that the player to be name later may be significant
4:18 pm - More news on the trade regarding the financial aspects has been reported by ESPN's Adam Rubin via Twitter:
3:45 pm There have been rumors about a trade throughout the day between the Mets and the Pirates surrounding Mets' first baseman Ike Davis. It was officially reported that a trade has been made by CBS Sport's Jon Heyman via Twitter at 3:45pm Friday afternoon.
Just minutes ago Heyman gave a few more details through his Twitter account. Davis was traded for pitcher Zach Thorton and a player to be named later. Heyman also reported that that player would most likely not be Tyler Thornburg or Eduardo Rodriguez but another player of lower value. I will keep you updated on this developing story here on Bullpen, Baseball & Sock Talk so stay tuned.

2014: Life as a MLB Season Ticket When the Team is Away, the Fans ...??

It’s a good question really. What do crazy fans who attend almost every ballgame do when their team is on a long road trip? Right now my Oakland A’s will have been gone 10 full days when they return Friday to take on the Houston Astros. (I threw out the ceremonial first pitch to Ryan Cook at the first A’s vs. Astros game in 2013 but that is another story for another time.)
Anyway, of course there are fans and season ticket holders who follow their teams on road trips, my self included (but again that’s another story for another time). Yet no one can follow their team to every city, unless of course they are a millionaire and can travel anywhere but the average, normal person who’s a crazy fan (so semi-normal people), what do they do when their team is away?
Well, I guess the first thing people like me do are all the normal things that you let go because there was that, Wednesday double header that you just couldn’t miss. Things like laundry, dishes, errands, making up for that day of work you may (most likely) have missed. But how do these obsessed fans cope?

Machado Cleared for ALL Baseball Activities!

Karl Merton Ferron/Baltimore Sun/MCT
It’s official. Everyone, even non-Orioles fans, has been waiting to know “when do we get to see Manny Machado play again after that horrific knee accident?” Well the news from the Baltimore Orioles camp Thursday was that all restrictions have been lifted by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed Machado’s reconstructive knee surgery. Machado was able to go to his re-scheduled appointment, which was supposed to be last week, Thursday morning.
The 21-year old third baseman is a defensive ace and he made the All-Star team in his first full season in the majors. Did I mention he can hit too? Machado played in 156 games before twisting his knee in a game against Tampa Bay. It was a shame that he couldn’t finish the season on a happier note but that happy note came finally Thursday.

2014: LIfe of a MLB Season Ticket Holder: STH Friends are Like Family

This week in the little story that is my Life of a Major League Baseball Season Ticket Holder I am going to pick up where I left off last time. I was in my hotel room at the DoubleTree and had to take off in order to get to an A's game at Phoenix Municipal Stadium against the Los Angeles Dodgers with the reigning Cy Young Award winner, Clayton Kershaw, on the mound. I couldn't be late to see Kershaw!
Lucky for me, I was there to see the southpaw get crushed by the A's offense! Kershaw cruised through the first two innings but wasn't able to get out of the third inning. The A's scored 5 runs off Kershaw and seven total in the inning. They eventually won the game 7-3. So that was a great game in my book.
Besides winning the game, another great part of going to spring training is that you get to see, what I like to call, your "Season Ticket Holder (STH) Neighbors.' STH neighbors started out for me as just the people who had tickets directly around where my seat is. I've seen families come and go, children grow up and go to college. Overtime you develop relationships with these people with whom you share a common love. I have to say that your direct STH neighbors are where the really deep friendships are formed. Some families do come and go (I mean, my family was new in 2002 when we moved our season tickets from section 219 to section 128.) but you end up staying in touch and develop friendships with new people. With so many games and weekends spent together it makes sense that STH would bond.

Padres' Cameron Maybin Will Not Require Surgery

Dustin Bradford/Getty Images
Dustin Bradford/Getty Images
Earlier this week it was reported that San Diego Padres’ outfielder, Cameron Maybin, had ruptured his left bicep tendon. After an MRI on Monday, the prognosis was that surgery would be the the only way for the 26-year old outfielder to heal. This would have kept Maybin out of baseball for at least three months if not more. That is pretty devastating news for a player who was only be able play in 14 games for the Padres last season due to injuries. Even Padres’ general manager Josh Byrnes told MLB.com,
“I thought he was done for the season.”

The Return of Spiderman??

Is A's Reddick Already Having a Comeback Year??

It’s a Wednesday and the first game of the Cactus League between the Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants has just ended.  Oakland won the game 10-5 over their cross bay rivals. The high score and A’s 16 hits, however, aren’t the only topics of conversation.  Josh Reddick‘s name is on everyone’s lips.
Getty Images
Getty Images
Reddick is the right fielder for the Oakland Athletics. He scaled a ten-foot wall, not once but twice, to rob the same Giants’ hitter,Michael Morse, of two home runs. Many in the media were already calling Reddick’s first home run robbing catch the “Catch of the Year” and the top web gems of the season after only the first day of spring training games. Regarding the catch fellow A’s outfielder Sam Fuld said,
“The first one he made was the best play I’ve ever seen, on the field or as a fan or anywhere. Best play I’ve ever seen live, and then it just got wacky with the second one. You’ll never see that ever again.”
He also went 1-3 on the day with a RBI. Not bad for a guy who had a very disappointing 2013 campaign.

My New Weekly Column is Debuting Tomorrow on Sports Unbiased!!

So tomorrow at noon Eastern time and nine am Pacific time my new weekly column will be debuting on Sports Unbiased!! So PLEASE check it out!!

The title of my new weekly series of articles is 2014 Oakland Athletics: Life of an MLB Season Ticket Holder. I am starting tomorrow going to be chronicle the season for the entire year ... because as all A's fans and die hard baseball fans know there is ABSOLUTELY no such thing as the off-season ... it's like, "what? I've never heard of such a thing!" .. LOL! Yes we all mourn the end of a season but there are trades and deals and the winter meetings and arbitration fights ... and yes, football and basketball and hockey to get us through the off-season ... but mainly let's just stick to the baseball stuff! Why? Because baseball is the greatest sport EVER and it should be treated as such! LOL! Now I am just being silly and making myself laugh ...

So back to my new column it is! I'm gonna talk about everything from the sometimes tediousness of having to get up, get ready and get to the yard six days straight, to the joys of seeing a Perfect Game(which we all know probably will not happen this year depending upon how bad the Astros are ... oh! I like the Astros! That was so mean ... but true) or a Complete Game Shut Out or a No-Hitter or a 18th inning walk-off single off Mariano Rivera (thank you Nate Freiman for FINALLY ending that marathon in the sun!)  ... but you get the ideas I am trying to get across here ...right?

Sometimes being the most hard core fan is the most rewarding thing in the world, sometimes you come home just wanting to kill yourself or you find yourself yelling at your empty Bud Light can in its #OaklandKoozieSwag saying youre gonna throw it at the television (oh wait .... what do you mean that doesn't happen to you guys?? Wait a min ....) But no matter how happy or how miserable you are there really isn't a bad thing to say about baseball ....

It's the greatest sport the world has ever known and its history is so rich both before and after the modern era .... the amazing amount of time this game has been played and there have only been what? 24 PG's in well over 100 years and I was present for one! That's someone watching out for you right there ... that kinda shit doesn't happen ... like I hugged the President ... I mean how often do you get that chance ... odds are it's more often than seeing a PG and I've done both. Now before I die I just want to meet Troy Aikman and be at a World Series game that the A's are playing in and preferably one they win (and preferably win the whole thing but I will take what I can get depending on the circumstances) ....

Ok, again caught rambling off topic .... so PLEASE REMEMBER MY NEW COLUMN GOES LIVE TOMORROW ON SPORTS UNBIASED at Noon Eastern Time (9am for us West Coasters) ... PLEASE Check it out! Leave comments, love it - hate it - lemme know how to improve it because I am gonna be promoting it for a year so if you hate it you just might wanna make a suggestion or two!!! LMAO! But in all seriousness I'm excited about having this opportunity to share my baseball experience with all of you ... it means so much to me and I hope that everyone has something that means as much to them! SO CHECK OUT MY COLUMN: 2014 Oakland Athletics:Life of an MLB Season Ticket Holder on Sports Unbiased tomorrow at 12pm ET/9am PT!! Thank you and as always .....

LET'S GO OAKLAND!!!!!

February 6, 1895: Happy Birthday Babe!

I really didn't realize that the Babe was born in the 1800's, 1895 to be exact, 119 years ago today, February 6th. And baseball is so much older. There is no sport with such a rich and amazing history as baseball but that is a topic for another day! Today is about the Babe ....
Every strike brings me closer to the next home run." - Babe Ruth

The Babe is probably the most well-known, famous baseball player of all time. Even if someone say doesn't know who Joe DiMaggio or Ty Cobb is, you can guarantee they have at least heard of Babe Ruth. I so wish I could have met him, ok well at least have seen him play!

I have seen some of the greatest of all time play ... Mariano Rivera. He would be the one I would say I am most proud to have seen play and I certainly do not doubt he will be the first unanimous Hall of Fame inductee. No one doesn't like Mo, no one. He was a class act on and off the field and one of the most AMAZING pitchers of all time. spent his whole career with the same team, I mean he is the legend people will talk about in 50 years. And I saw him play Everyone loves him and rightfully so! Randy Johnson would be another one, Ken Griffey Jr.,  ... these are legends I have seen live. I'm trying to think of some others but I will get back to that. Maybe in another blog post or something because this was supposed to be a little piece celebrating The Babe.

"Don't let the fear of striking out hold you back."

– Babe Ruth

George Herman Ruth Jr. was born in Maryland in 1895. Nicknamed The Bambino, The Sultan of Swat and The Babe he became the most famed baseball player of all time! He was sent to a strict parochial school as a boy where he excelled in baseball and later his pitching was noticed by the owner of the then minor league Baltimore Orioles, a minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

"Never let the fear of striking out get in your way."

– Babe Ruth
The Orioles owner, Jack Dunn, became Ruth's legal guardian. People called him Dunn's new babe. The nickname stuck and the man we know as Babe Ruth was officially born!  And most of the rest of the factual information most of us know (I'm assuming you may be a casual baseball fan) - called up to the Red Sox, won some championships, threw 13 scoreless innings in a game (a MLB record), got traded to the Yankees in 1919 so the owner of the Red Sox could finance the musical "No-No Nanette" and The Curse of the Bambino became a reality for 86 years before the Red Sox won their first championship in 2004. In New York Ruth became a full time outfielder and his offensive abilities only got better.

"If I'd just tried for them dinky singles I would've batted around six hundred."

– Babe Ruth
The Bambino holds so many MLB records! He was one of the first five players inducted into the hall of fame in 1936 along with Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson and Christy Mathewson - those names all together At Spring Training every year when we get to see guys like Rollie Fingers, Vida Blue, Blue Moon Odom, Bob Welch, Rickey Henderson and Campy! Those guys are legends to me! But I am a baseball history nerd so these guy would be by far the coolest to see all together! OMG!

Babe hit his final home runs at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, PA and reminded people of his greatness as they were all in one game on May 25, 1935. Of course everyone knows the story of when he called his shot and nailed a home run to left! That is just insane!

"I looked out at center field and I pointed. I said, 'I'm going to hit the next pitched ball right past the flagpole.' Well, the Good Lord must have been with me."

– Babe Ruth
Ok back to the Babe's records, of course we all know the stories and the stats but for the casual fan I shall repeat the most important. Babe Ruth held the single season home run record with 60 which stood for 34 years. He held every important slugging record for years including most year leading a league in home runs with 12, most total bases in a season with 457 and the highest slugging percentage for a season for a single season with .847. In his career he hit 714 home runs in his career. That record stood until Hank Aaron of the Atlanta Braves hit number 715 to surpass him.

Ruth's life after baseball never materialized the way he wanted it to.
He had dreams of becoming a big league manager. Unfortunately the reputation that preceded him was a bit to crazy of a lifestyle and he was seen as irresponsible aka not manager material. He later did become a coach with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was known as a very generous man. Ruth made his final public appearance for Yankee Stadium's, aka the House that Ruth Built, 25th anniversary in 1948.
He died of cancer on August 16, j1948. He left most of his money to the Babe Ruth Foundation for Under Privileged Children and is survived by his wife Claire and two daughters, Dorothy and Julia. So there's a little mini bio of one of the all time greats in the game of baseball!! With all my randomness just thrown right in there! But that's why I sometimes do just blog posts and not articles ... I can put more of my personality into a blog post vs an article ... anyway, I am rambling so I will conclude with a quote from the Bambino,

Baseball was, is and always will be to me the best game in the world."

– Babe Ruth

Salary Arbitration and Hearings in MLB Explained

Kinda ... to the best of my understanding at least. I knew a bit prior to writing this piece for Sports Unbiased, did some research, tried to simplify it a little and well, here's what I came up with ....  you may find it a little bit boring but it's one of those things that people who are into baseball should probably know about more so than just like "oh that guy's a free agent" or "so and so is up for arbitration" ya know? Here's my understanding of the process .....

With Major League Baseball’s arbitration hearings beginning today and running through February 21st, I thought it might be nice for those new to baseball, casual fans and even fanatics like myself to take a little refresher course on what salary arbitration and arbitration hearings are. I mean, we hear them talked about every year but what is really going on?
Charles Rex Arbogast;
Charles Rex Arbogast
All this is largely based on free agency so I need to preface this article by saying that free-agency in MLB is different from free-agency in any other sport, in that a player cannot become a free agent without six full years of big league service.
Let’s go over the basics of salary arbitration in MLB. Really, the most complicated part of the process is deciphering who is eligible in the first place, after that things become a lot less complicated.

MLB Expanded Replay Benefits the Game .... Here's Why!

On August 28, 2008 the use of instant replay was officially instituted into Major League Baseball’s official rules. It’s use was limited to the discretion of the umpires on the field who made the call in the first place. It was restricted to only plays related to whether a home run had actually left the playing field, if there was the possibility of fan interference or if the potential home run was fair or foul.

For the past few years the idea of the use of expanded replay has been thrown around MLB as a possibility. In 2013, which should be known as the year of missed calls and bad umpires, the talk got a bit more serious. Yesterday all 30 MLB clubs, the World Umpires Association and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) voted unanimously to launch the use of expanded replay in 2014.

2013 World Series Game Six: A TRUE STORY: The Day I Wore Red #SockSwag

... Red Sox crowned World Series Champions

Make no mistake I am NOT a Red Sox fan .... but I am an AL girl and there were conflicting reasons to root for either team so I went with the Red Sox (you know if you read any of my blog before about the whole mess of the hierarchy of World Series Titles, etc). Plus, I like a few of the players in Boston like David Ortiz aka Big Papi! He so adorably happy all the time, he reminds me of Bartolo Colon a bit (#TeamBartolo) and also playing for the Red Sox were former Athletics, NorCal native Jonny Gomes and the "smartest man in baseball" Craig Breslow ... As I mentioned before as well I'm an American League girl at heart so my alliegence is to the AL.

Ortiz was named the MVP of the World Series this year, his postseason record is so good it's awe inspiring! And he performed as well or better than he did almost a decade ago when the Red Sox won their first World Series since 1918. Ortiz's lifetime postseason batting average is .295 with 17 home runs. One might think he'd have big numbers playing for contenders like the Twins and now the Red Sox combining for a total of 82 post season games having gone to the ALDS eight times, the ALCS six times and the World Series three times! But it's hard to keep an almost .300 avg  having played what equals to a full half season's worth of post season games! Yes, Big Papi has had the good fortune of playing for competitive teams but every time he goes to the playoffs he is CLUTCH and this year was no different! He deserved that MVP award! Congrats Big Papi!!

Earlier today I wrote an entire blog post about all this and much more using my phone, turns out that even though I have app on my phone - it was all lost because it wouldn't publish! Apparently my phone isn't compatible with Blogger. It's a Galaxy S3 I can't imagine why it wouldn't work. I need a new phone anyway so I think I will make sure my new one is compatible. Now I feel like I am just completely rambling but earlier I felt like I had more content and meat to the whole thing. Ugh! Frustrating much?! So here are some pics of my Red SockSwag! I will write and add more to this tomorrow most likely but for now this is all I got in me ... keep getting distracted by wanting to watch Pitch Perfect! LOL!

I was definitely ready to watch some baseball with my SockSwag, JD, Bud Light, Diet Coke and my #OaklandKoozieSwag .... only thing missing was the pizza but it was about to arrive! hehehe!

"THINGS" brought to you today by the letter B & the number 13 (also, the color RED)

So I've figure a couple of things out ... actually after re-reading this I realize I have absolutely NOTHING figured out but that I am completely ok with that. Quick exampIe! I was going to start out this blog talking about RED #SockSwag for the World Series and I am completely ok with that ... now onto the nonsense ....

First off, I don't really care who wins this World Series. Nothing really against either team except that the Cardinals have two more World Series Titles than the Athletics (I'd like OAK to @ least re-tie STL for second all time)  and the Red Sux have the most obnoxious and annoying fans - they show up the way A's fan know how to show up - A's fans however just do it with a bit more class .... ok, they can be 'wickedly' (or just 'wicked'?? 'HELLA' makes much more sense!) obnoxious! (I still hate you girl who tried to fight me by chasing me and grabbing me by the back of the head at Game 5 of the 2003 ALDS  - yea, ten years and I am still pissed off - which quickly leads me to digress even farther off topic but it puts the damn Kirk Gibson HR in perspective a little.) It's been a decade and I still hate the way we played games 3-4 in Boston, I still hate losing that particular game five more than some of our other playoff failures and yes, I still hate that girl and most all Boston fans (I did before that day but esp after) so I guess I could say I can hold onto a grudge too! I should probably hate the Dodgers but I don't really. It doesn't hurt that rooting for the Dodgers when they win it just pisses off the gnats fans so kinda works for me! So I was only seven when I watched Gibson hit the walk off against Dennis Eckersley that many still believe changed the course of that world series 25 years ago. I guess I get it, I always said to "get over it, it was only game one." Yes, it was only game one. But it was my first ever World Series experience that included my favorite team and more than likely I didn't fully see the 1988's HR's significance the way that I look at the significance of those two games in Boston in '03 for instance. Still I may always think that that whole Boston debacle was more of a series momentum changer than game one in 1988 or I may find Joe Carter's walk off vs the Philadephia Phillies' closer Mitch Williams to win it for the Toronto Blue Jays in game 6 of the 1993 World Series more iconic. As I mentioned I was only a kid in the midst of my "first real World Series" (b/c I mean how could it count without the A's in it?) and for some reason the wins from back then are more vivid than the loses (the same goes for football) while the older I get the more the losses hurt and stick with me... like a plague. Good times the post season!! LOL! Naw really, I do LOVE the MLB Post Season which, thank goodness brings me back to my original thought ....

LOOK HOW FAR OFF TOPIC I GOT?? OMG!!!

I was supposed to be talking about how for the FIRST time I am going to wear and debut pictures of my new RED and white #SockSwag during game six of the 2013 World Series! (See any team can have SockSwag?!) Just to preface or disclaim or What I mean is .... ok, sure, I haven't ACTUALLY MADE my own pair of socks YET but the way that I go with designs, layering, lengths and colors right now for the A's is what I envision for my own line sports teams/colors themed socks ... but again I am getting off topic here. I am NOT wearing the socks as particularly RED "SOX" (although I lean more towards Red Sox and American League victory as I believe I have made abundantly clear. If I haven't I am clearly not doing a blogger/writer's job of effectively exchanging information with other parties ... hmmm....) - more like neutral #SockSwag - especially since one, I noticed today that the Cardinals had some pretty kick ass #StLouisSockSwag on today! Either way it's gonna continue to be a very Red October indeed and this year's World Series Champion team will absolutely be wearing red ...

The 24th Anniversary of the Loma Prieta Quake & the Bay Bridge World Series!

Since everyone is sharing their story on this 24th anniversary of the Loma Prieta Earthquake here's mine:

I was 8 years old and laying on the floor of our living room (decked out in my A's gear) watching the pregame festivities/beginning of the game for the Bay Bridge World Series (most AmAzing series EVER!) and the phone rang, it was my grandmother in TX  calling to see if we were ok and my mom was like "what do you mean?" Then the tv went out so I started yelling at my mom to come fix it quick (couldnt imagine not seeing the entire game!) Just as all this was happening we began to feel the quake, my mom put down the phone and told me to get in the doorway NOW! I did but it was quite a long earthquake so she eventually had me hid under the kitchen desk! Afterwards we ended up being lucky! We didn't have much damage besides broken dishes and things like that! An we were extraordinarily luck that my dad, who usually worked in the City, was working at the Concord office that day!  The only other casualty was that I was bummed bc they couldn't play the game! Which was obviously the least of everyone else's concerns but what can I say? I just LOVE baseball! lol

I find a couple things interesting ... first that my grandma knew about the quake before we did! Quakes really do roll out in waves because we hadn't felt it yet out east in Walnut Creek. The second thing that really baffles me is that some people's stories don't include being about to watch the World Series! I know, I know, I'm a baseball crAzy and my fave team was in the series but I just can't comprehend not watching it because you were out playing or something lame like that ... but that's just me and my crAzy obsession! So to each their own! I just find it comical! LOL!

So that's my Loma Prieta story - what's yours???

*Since I have no pics on my computer from 1989, I figured this authentic BB poster that still hangs on my green living room wall would suffice! LOL*

My First Solo Article for SportsUnbiased.com!

Please take a look! It would really help me out if you checked it out on the site! The title is : 2013 Oakland Athletics: Why They Will Win the AL West

Here is my first real solo article for SportsUnbiased.com! Its a bit rough in my opinion but the editors helped me out and were really great! Please take a moment to read it and tell me what you think - positive or negative! Thank you!! I can use all the help I can get!!

This is totally my dream to have the freedom to write about baseball and even better my Oakland Athletics. I tried to make the article as unbiased and to the truth as much as I could! I still have things to work on but for a first real try I think I did alright! All comments and criticisms are welcome because how else will I improve? Thank you for you time! Have a wonderful day! <3 OaklandAsSocksGirl

Video Blog and Snap Chat randomness! (Please be patient ... some technical difficulties going on! ugh!)

So I learned how to make videos on Snap Chat today! Honestly I highly recommend this app! I've met cool people and you can take the most fun, hilarious videos and pics! If you have it and haven't added me please do! My username for Snap Chat is BullpenBrunette! Looking forward to hearing from y'all!

Also, using #SnapChat I found out how much fun and easy it is to make videos! Following are the first few Snap Chat vids just took tonight, like my first ever. I'm sure I look like the total baseball nerd that I am but who cares! Baseball hella rules over every sport! Anything can happen and you almost always have a chance to win the next day! I love how baseball is everyday for half the year ... truly the best sport ever!! But I am totally beginning to digress! Below are my first few Snap Chat videos, I'll use my actual camera if I decide to do an actual video blog! Then posts can be longer and I'm sure that the rest of them will be like this be accompanied by some written stuff .... so here goes! My first attempts at Snap Chat video making! lmao! I'm such a baseball nerd!! Gotta embrace it tho!! Let's Go Oakland! I Hella Love my A's!!

I couldnt get the SnapChat videos on here but you can see them (yeah they are a little embarrassing! lmao) on my YouTube channel: Oakland A's Socks Girl's You Tube Channel  There is also a link in the upper right corner of this page as well!

So I'm definitely gonna be starting a video blog on YouTube! So subscribe to my channel if you are interested!  Don't know when I am gonna start it but soon enough! Thanks! :-)

Idol Features Interview with Chris Charles

I know I haven't blogged in hella days! Kinda lame of me, been a little busy with the A's kicking ass and being 6 games up on the Rangers! Such a great comeback win today as the A's took 3-4 from the Angels! After being down 5 runs in the first inning Oakland came back to win 10-6! Those are my boys! They never say die! Let's Go Oakland!

So I met a friend via mutual friends on Facebook who has a webstie called Idol Features! He interviews as the site puts it "ladies that are worthy of a double take" - apparently I am a local lady worth one! I would disagree but was flattered and took a moment to talk with Chris about well my fave thing in the world A's baseball and about my AmAzing socks! LOL! Chris also has interviewed a true local celeb who I am a huge fan of - Roberta Gonzales! She's a big A's fAnAtic and will be throwing out the first pitch for her - *gasp* - 5th time, on August 13th against the Astros! My first pitch was also against the Astros! :-) Anyways here is the interview ... hope y'all enjoy it!
