Smoak Named Seattle's Everyday First Baseman by McClendon

Justin Smoak was unequivocally given the job of being the Seattle Mariners' number one first baseman by the team's manager, Llyod McClendon. It is the same type of job security he has given to his best hitter, Robinson Cano, who will be hitting third in the Mariners lineup and to his ace pitcher, Felix Hernandez.
